Dale Chihuly Glass Ceiling Installation

Dale Chihuly Glass Ceiling Installation

A private residence. A powder room ceiling made into a gallery for a Dale Chihuly glass sculpture.

The owner's powder room ceiling was converted into a gallery space designed to house a Dale Chihuly glass sculpture. The room had to be prepared so the artist's team could do their install: the ceiling structure, the lighting that makes the glass read, and the surfaces around it were all built first.

My part covered the conversion of the space, the installation of the sculpture, the lighting, and the preparation of the room for the artist's own work.

What this project involved

• Powder room ceiling converted into a gallery space
• Lighting designed and installed for the glass
• Sculpture installation and preparation for the artist's install

Photographs of the finished ceiling are coming to this page.
