Custom Log Home, Black Hawk
Black Hawk, CO. A full-log home, featured in Log Home Living.
Rustic and luxurious at once, this log home was built with full ten-inch round logs. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a floor heating system, and a metal roof, and it was featured in Log Home Living.
A log house is a different discipline from a glass one: the logs move as they dry, and everything that meets them, from the roof to the plumbing, has to allow for it. That is the part of this house nobody sees and the part I am proudest of.
What this project involved
- Full ten-inch round log construction
- Three bedrooms, three bathrooms
- Floor heating system
- Metal roof
Photographs of the house are coming to this page.
