Bernard Venet Sculpture Platform and Installation

Bernard Venet Sculpture Platform and Installation

A private residence. A display platform built for a Bernar Venet sculpture, then the installation itself.

Large steel sculpture cannot simply be set down. For this Bernar Venet piece I constructed a display platform to carry it, installed the sculpture on the platform, and then moved the whole assembly to its final location on the property.

The order matters: the platform is engineered for the weight and the footprint of the piece, the sculpture is set on it where there is room to work, and the move is planned so nothing is lifted twice.

What this project involved

• Display platform constructed for the sculpture
• Sculpture installed on the platform
• Platform and sculpture moved to their final location

Photographs of the installed piece are coming to this page.
